I have pretty extensive use of Acer,HP/Compaq,Dell and Sony. To date I have had decent service from HP/Compaq and Dell and poor service from Sony. Acer fails to rate even cr&p.
I've not had any real issues with my Dell 9300 but I do run Diskeeper to stop the XP fragmentation and I update all the drivers that require it every month or so.
