Hi Ken, I was one of the original Webfaction advocates on this list and it was a great platform while it lasted.
Our needs have changed since then. We're currently host (website only) on Strikingly and plan to move to Tilda.cc in the future. We use the wonderful rsync.net for SFTP/RSYNC for file exchange. PythonAnywhere looks like a good 1:1 replacement for Webfaction but I have not used it in a production setting.
