Gene,
I don't have a problem with adapting a VFP application to a web app
(using Foxweb) other than the useability on a phone-sized device. I've
actually been running my main application on a Win 8.1 10" tablet and
while it is doable, you better have good eyesight and be patient!
In my opinion, the entire interface paradigm has to change for a 5"
screen versus a fat desktop application.
So I guess the question comes down to productivity (developing in VFP
for a web app on a 5" screen vs. a new platform like Basic4Andriod.)
I've spent some time creating HTML+PHP+Javascript pages in the recent
past, and it wasn't that painful, although much slower that VFP (due to
familiarity.)

Dang it Ted! I was trying to look cool with a buzz word! I'm still
working on how to use "container" like all the other guys at the
water cooler...
Let me try. "The container is nearly empty. Does anyone know
where the containers of water are kept?"
Did that help?
But, sincerely, so I can use my closing honestly, what about
running Fox on the Web?
