Good to hear it is working now.

Another option if it had been a hardware issue is to get a USB sd card holder. They are cheap now and work well.

Strangely enough - from in Dev. Mgr. - I accessed the SD Host Controller Properties - Disabled it - then Re-Enabled it - and now it works!

Hey Dave - thanks for such quick feedback!

Yes - when card is in the BOT - its Readable - and I can select files to print - so, its definitely not a Card issue.

I looked under Device Mangler - and could not find a reference to where I would find SD card management. I even went to Disk Management - but, of course - drive was NOT showing up!

First thing to do is see if you can read the card on another machine.. Assuming that is true I would check the drivers for the SDCard in the Computer/Manage section to see if they are working OK. If they have simply been corrupted then you can remov the drivers and refresh the devices screen to get it to pick up the card reader device.

Subject: [NF] SD Card Access Problem...

Hey Folks,

I know I haven't posted on here very much for a while - especially re:Fox - but, these days I've moved more in the direction of 3D Printing.

So - I got this Bot - and it prints for an SD Card. Problem is - I only got 1 PC w/SD Card slot. And, today - upon putting the card in - its NOT Coming up on the PC (which is actually my old Laptop). Not sure if there is a true HW problem on the machine. But - unless I can write to the SD card - I can't even do 3D Printing on my Bot! As such - I am kinda SOL - and really desperate.

Any suggestions?

Laptop is an OLD Alienware - running Vista.

TIA,
-K-
