Yep, my thoughts too.

It seems to be the one's that can least afford it that are getting squeezed.

The young kids can't find their first jobs because the older folks are
having to take them to survive

My first time in FW so I would probably not notice such things. What did
surprise me was the lack of shops in the centre, only a few. And other than
eat, FA to do. Nearest I got to entertainment was the water garden. Unless
of course you have transport which I didn't.
I'm well over 50 too. UK is as bad job wise though stories from the tories
say it's getting better. Not sure who for though.
