As many of you know - I've been doing this Screen Hacking stuff - as part of
a utility to generate Screens/Forms - based upon older system PRG files.

So - We are now doing testing of the new screens - and my Boss noticed that
the Fonts on the screen looked like SHIT when running on WinXP - even the
SAME Screen design looked just FINE when running under Win7.

All our Dev. here is done on Win7 PC's. But, we also have an XP machine here
they use for testing & Client support. And, since many of the clients still
use XP - the programs must work under Win7 & XP.

The font I'm using for the main screen field labels is Arial - 12 - not
Bold. When view on XP - they come out looking REALLY Skinny! Also, the font
on the menu buttons - is Times New Roman - 12 - Bold Italic. The buttons
look Great on Win7 - but, under XP - they actually look fuzzy - almost like
I am looking at a screenshot image with Compression Artifacts - even though
I am actually looking at a running system.

Am open to suggestions! Are they other Fonts that look better than what I am
using? Is there some Standard that I should follow?

Whatever Fonts I implement on these 1st set of screens - its what will be
used through out the Entire System Re-design!

TIA,

-K-
