Create a variable in the WHEN method. Assign a value in the VALID method 
accordingly.
Then in the LOST FOCUS method you check the variable, call another form if 
needed and
when u get back from that form you decide, if staying issue a NODEFAULT, if not 
go
ahead to the next object.
