When out of the UK I use an SSH tunneled proxy server for internet and
some email. Last year I ran it on a heavy duty HP server with redundant
power supplies etc. This year I decided I couldn't afford the
electricity so I set it up on a consumer grade Western Digital My Book
World NAS - I was dubious but it has now been running without a hitch
for 3 months.
Anyone else got interesting uses for NAS devices - Asterisk for example>
