I do/send everything in plain text, because everybody can read that without worrying about settings. However, for a small business, I can see the need for a bit more polished look, which HTML can give you. Couple of recommendations: 1. Keep the HTML simple, don't do those rookie things like flash, animation, Facebook-style crap. Just make it look nice for most folks. 2. Most people will be able to display simple HTML just fine. If they can't, it's probably because they've got it turned off in their E-mail program. Not difficult to turn it back on if they want to do that. Your client, as a business, can't MAKE their customers do anything they don't want to. Do the best you can for a reasonable effort. Good luck.
