All I can comment on is the current situation. I've been using Xbase++ since 2006. In May 2006 version 1.9 was released, and apart from hotfixes this is still the latest version. Alaska has been promising a new version with new features (specifically SQL pass-through) for years. We put on hold developments waiting for the new version. In the end, we cut our losses (i.e. 20+ years of code) and redeveloped the app in C# + SQL Server. Our first installation was in December. -- Paul _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/cadwx0+j1jgt5nrvs-2xp2wicmx7s6wrhxjt7_yoavs_y2+o...@mail.gmail.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
