I wouldn't want to do it for hours on end like when I'm coding, but as
far as writing notes, replying to emails, etc., it's fine. The screen keys are
almost the same as the Apple Bluetooth keyboard I'm typing on now, so once I
get my fingers positioned, I can type almost as fast as on a physical keyboard.
It just takes a little getting used to, since we're all so used to feeling the
keys as we type.
