There are suits there from time to time - but usually on customers
touring the place. ;-)
The Chairman of Rackspace is in there a few times - he's the blond guy
with glasses. Our CEO is the bald guy with the beard high-fiving the people at
the top of the stairs. I'm visible for brief moments in the background, too.
I should explain what that last scene was all about. Every month we
have a week-long cultural education course for new hires ("Rookie
Orientation"), and then a big company-wide celebration for their "graduation"
to welcome them. Yesterday was the rookie-o graduation, and we had 130 people
in the class, the largest monthly class to date - and yes, we're still hiring
at that rate! To top it off, one of the rookies decided to get married as part
of the party, so there was an actual wedding right after the graduation.
Anyone want to try topping that? ;-)
