A VERY Early version of the AniMusic stuff was just these Drums - and these balls bouncing onto them in the animnation. The newer stuff looks more Hi-Tech, and much more CG Colorful. But, the very early stuff was more simplistic renderings - but, also more realistic. So - it still makes me think what you saw was that. But, I'd be curious to know WHERE you saw this. Although - maybe its too late to actually get that link...
