I wonder if it has to do with the labor pool and their skills, or lack
thereof?

Subject: [NF] Programmers From India

I am having trouble figuring something out. I am seeing more and more
companies hiring folks from India and bringing them here to program
Microsoft tools. Aren't there qualified candidates here in the US?
Once you fly them here, pick them up for work and take them home at night,
pay for their room and board - seems to me you could find someone here to do
it.

My life lost her job after 12 years so they could bring a guy from India to
program Navision. On herI new job there is a guy from India that is
programming in .NET. I work for a major corporation that hires a lot of
people from India to work on their IT systems here in the US.

I understand that it really stinks when the send a job to India, but these
companies (small and large) are bringing people HERE to work.
They are also only working on Microsoft tools.

What's up with that?!?
