You're going to kick yourself :)
Determine the number of times you want to call the progressbar and then
only call the progressbar that many times.
So if you have 1400 records and want to update the progressbar in
increments of 5%:
* psuedo code - untested
* before loop
fivepercent = int( totalrecords * 0.05 )
* in main processing loop
counter = counter + 1
if counter / fivepercent == int( counter / fivepercent )
call prograssbar
endif
