Hi, I use fresh install, entire disk for OpenBSD, and but manuall partitioned since it's a small disk.
My disklabel and wd0i partition look like: # disklabel wd0 # /dev/rwd0c: type: ESDI disk: ESDI/IDE disk label: FUJITSU MHS2030A uid: 2b6c4ae49a2fe27a flags: bytes/sector: 512 sectors/track: 63 tracks/cylinder: 16 sectors/cylinder: 1008 cylinders: 58140 total sectors: 58605120 boundstart: 4096 boundend: 58605120 drivedata: 0 16 partitions: # size offset fstype [fsize bsize cpg] a: 56503424 2101696 4.2BSD 2048 16384 1 # / b: 2097584 4096 swap c: 58605120 0 unused i: 2048 1 MSDOS # mount -t msdos -o -l /dev/wd0i /mnt # ls /mnt OFWBOOT # ls -l /mnt total 128 -r-xr-xr-x 1 root wheel 63648 Dec 6 21:13 OFWBOOT # I didn't move or copy anything, the OpenBSD installer did the right thing. I did set the boot variables to hd:,ofwboot and /bsd It does consistantly the right thing for me. cheers bruce On Sat, Jan 15, 2011 at 02:55:35PM -0600, Gable Barber wrote: > On Sat, Jan 15, 2011 at 2:47 PM, Sergiu Partenie <pser...@gmail.com> wrote: > > > > On 15.01.2011, at 22:28, Gable Barber wrote: > >> > >> Fresh install, used entire disk for OpenBSD, and automatic > >> partitioning layout.
