I know entire disk works with intel Macs, and I remember that there was some discussion of entire partition working on PPC Macs back when Apple went pure insane. But does entire disk work with all PPC Macs? If so, what does one do instead of ofwboot, since there is no PCBIOS and the 4-DOS-partition paradigm doesn't hold? And, which machines does entire partition work on? > >> I did NOT move ofwboot to the boot partition with > >> OSX, I didn't read that part of the install notes until after I > >> installed. (What was it, now, I wish I weren't losing my memory.) Anyway, I'm thinking that wd0a is probably not a place you'll be able to talk the open firmward boot ROM into reading ofwboot from. Especially if you used the default partitioning scheme. -- Joel Rees <joel_r...@sannet.ne.jp>
