I think Lightmeter does what you want. It traces the entire history of each message and shows the history in a web-based viewer.
You can search for a given message by timeframe, sender, recipient, or Postfix ID, and see its history, using the included "Message detective". That's in version 2.0 RC3. Older Lightmeter versions also provide tracing but with fewer search options.
