With yalls help I have postfix working - Thanks! But I need to set ALL outgoing mail to be from a very specific username@domain in order to get the receiving SMTP relay to accept it. I can do this on each message with
mail -r username@domain .... But this means redoing mail commands all over in scripts. Can I force every outgoing SMTP message (regardless of which user within my system actually sent it) to have the same from/reply-to address? How? All of the examples in the manual still make the reply-to username@mydomain, but I have to make it a fixed unchanging value.
