I see. Would it be too much to ask to add a template for postmaster notifications as well then (notify_classes = protocol etc.)? Like I said before, it appears that MAILER-DAEMON is hardcoded in those, and it looks like there is currently no way to change it even with header checks.

Wietse has already promised to update the syntax.
