On my relay, I tried these settings:

local_transport = error: local mail delivery is disabled
mail_version = 3.5.8
relay_transport = hash:/etc/postfix/transport
        .our.local.domain     relay:[MDA server IP]
smtpd_recipient_restrictions = permit_mynetworks
relayhost = [ upstream relay ]

And when I send mail, I get "Recipient address rejected: local mail delivery is
disabled"

What am I missing, please ?

"relay_domains" and/or "relay_transport" to direct the message to the MDA
server.

    .our.local.domain    relay:[ MDA server ]

    The '*' is not needed because you can use relayhost or default_transport.
