That's because bounce by ID is not supported. You can bounce all mail for a specific recipient or a specific domain with a transport map. /etc/postfix/main.cf transport_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/transport /etc/postfix/transport example.com error:text why mail is bounced u...@other.example.com error:text why mail is bounced Instead of hash: you can use any Postfix darabase type. This also prevents the Postfix SMTP server from accepting new email for that recipient or domain.
