Can you run this AS A NON-ROOT USER? On the same machine that runs Postfix? The Postfix mailq command calls the postqueue command, which deletes most of its environment (similar to "env -") before calling the same standard library time conversion functions that are also used by the date command. I suspect the discreoancy is caused by environment or permission errors. Wietse
