Centos 6.6 was released in early november 2014, so your system seems to have gone about 4 years without updates (security and otherwise). The current release of Centos 7, which is .5, has: openssl-libs-1.0.2k-12 openssl-1.0.2k-12 so that would appear to provide the necessary libraries.
