Hai, 

Did you remove the mail rotate also from /etc/logrotate.d/rsyslog   ? 

You have these lines in the rsyslog file also.
/var/log/mail.info
/var/log/mail.warn
/var/log/mail.err
/var/log/mail.log

Your now "double" rotateing your logs.  ;-)
