I don't have a question, but I thought I'd share that I've found this extremely useful recently for watching the logs:
tail -f /var/log/maillog | grep -v -E '(cleanup|dnsblog|postscreen|qmgr|anvil))' It narrows the log down to the data that I'm most interested in (smtp, dovecot, amazes, etc). -- Apple broke AppleScripting signatures in Mail.app, so no random signatures.
