I've tried something like this:

----------------------------------------------------------------
nat...@domain.com smtp:mail1.domain.com:25
----------------------------------------------------------------

and adding:

----------------------------------------------------------------
transport_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/transport
----------------------------------------------------------------

But I'm still getting the "Recipient address rejected: User unknown in
virtual alias table" message.

Any help is appreciated.
