Okay, thanks for all the responses. First of all, sorry for not specifying this at the beginning: smtpd_helo_restrictions = permit_mynetworks, permit_sasl_authenticated, check_helo_access regexp:/etc/postfix/helo_access, reject_invalid_helo_hostname, reject_unknown_helo_hostname I had been under the impression that rejecting unknown hostnames was a fairly normal thing to do (on my low-usage server, I've only had to add two exceptions). If it isn't, I'll just take it out, I'm not set on using it. Thanks for the link, Louis. Eric
