Yes, but I hoped that some obscure message in the log might indicate the
problem Gmail had, or else that my configuration would reveal some obvious
thing I have to do for Gmail to trust my messages. I'm only guessing that
trust is the problem, as I don't know how to get Gmail to show me the
actual error(s) it's encountering.
