Perhaps you forgot to read the RELEASE_NOTES. See the "Major changes - relay safety" section ftp://mirrors.loonybin.net/pub/postfix/official/postfix-2.10.9.RELEASE_NOTES http://www.postfix.org/postconf.5.html#smtpd_relay_restrictions Also note that 2.10.1 is pretty old.
