That was a special case for rewriting a single address, and is not intended for nor suitable for general rewriting. Postfix rewriting (including the procedure above) is described in the official documentation: http://www.postfix.org/ADDRESS_REWRITING_README.html Additional rewriting, including arbitrary conditional rewriting, can be done in a milter or smtp proxy. -- Noel Jones
