Something (not Postfix) up-converts quoted-printable to 8-bit. That would explain why the message can't be fowarded. It would not explain why Thubderbird mail, originally encoded as 8bit, delivers fine. Presumably mail that was already 8bit is treated differently from 7-to-8-converted mail. Wietse
