I have a postfix relaying to dovecot's lda but "strangely"
it does not work, I mean I image it's me doing something
wrong, yet I cannot figure out what.
to=<me@my.domain>,orig_to=<root@localhost>, relay=dovecot,
delay=39296, delays=39294/2.2/0/0.27, dsn=4.3.0,
status=deferred (temporary failure)
Dovecot gets postfix's relays but, without errors does not
deliver
Dovecot for users uses only ldap backend (well, it's only
bit I configured in the configs) and everything there seems
working OK. I can query LDAP without errors, email IMAP
clients connects to dovecot no problems.
My felling is that I got it wrong somewhere on postfix end.
My first thought, question would be - can I have a postifx
bits this way:
myorigin = $mydomain
mydestination = $myhostname, localhost.$mydomain, localhost
and domain to which postfix itself belongs, eg:
postfix@my.domain
here:
virtual_mailbox_domains = my.domain
?
that is my first guess, otherwise what I might have gotten
wrong?
