I had hoped that some variant of the available sequential lookups through multiple sources might do the trick; seems not. Then I'll drop the 'elegant' recipient verification, and move to periodically rsync'd users.lmdb tables, plus an exec hook on the backend whenever a user/alias is changed. Solves the problem well enough to get message into the frontend's queue if the backend is down any length of time. > > (2) rsync-ing a simple list of known users from the backend to the frontend > > in/as a regularly postmap'd lmdb table or a no-reload-needed pcre table, > > either replacing, or complementing (not sure yet if that's wise), recipient > > verification > > A clarification... I managed to get that exactly backwards. Thanks for the catch.
