I began the process of building P-3.0 to the extent of preping a mock build spec file. However, reading the README file with 3.0 gave me serious pause. Rightly or wrongly as I read it I began to feel that 3.0 was not going to be a simple drop in replacement for 2.11.
Are my anxieties misplaced? Can I just build and package 3.0 as I have done previously with 2.11 and just install it as a simple (no configuration changes) update over an existing 2.11 installation? -- *** E-Mail is NOT a SECURE channel *** James B.
