Viktor, Yes, there was a samples/ directory in /etc/postfix; I've no idea how long it's been there. Just removed it as unnecessary. The syntax in the obsolete.log file is one I've not seen before; that's probably why I could not interpret it. I'll wait for 2.11.5 to come out to learn if that lack of quoting of $path in post-install disappears. Thanks, Rich
