Note that Postfix did send out an address probe (the thing that
ended with "status=undeliverable" and "User unknown").

Normally, Postfix will refresh (send a new probe) a "good" cached
address when it is older than 7 days.

address_verify_positive_refresh_time = 7d

So unless you have been doing these experiments for a week,
I would not buy your argument.
