Postfix is not prone to crashes, but if for some unexpected reason it does, or you're experiencing performance issues, you'll likely get better support on this list that would from any vendor, no matter how much you paid them. I've not seen any Linux vendor support for a bundled MTA to the extent of troubleshooting application-specific issues.
