Are you sure that is indeed what is being sent?
As Mr Venema (the author of Postfix) pointed out, this is not valid syntax.
You might want to temporarily set
notify_classes = resource, software, protocol, policy
(and make sure you have an alias for the postmaster)
to help track down this problem...
