Thank you for letting me know. Appreciate. I thought as much... I thought I would add it just for convenience reasons. I saw it working when I telnet-ed to a server. It said 220 Hello <my ip address> <my server name>. Welcome. Do not spam. That is the server I connected to showed my IP address and my server's name, the ones I was connecting to it from. I found it to be really cool to be greeted like that so I though I would try to set it up the same way but if it's not supported in Postfix... you can call it just cosmetics I guess. -- View this message in context: http://postfix.1071664.n5.nabble.com/Customize-SMTP-Greetings-Banner-in-Postfix-2-9-6-tp72110p72113.html Sent from the Postfix Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
