I'm doing about 200,000 per day and don't seem to really have any
problems with the actual delivery (having followed that advice). The
problem is the actual processing locally - the delivery of that mail is
concentrated over a couple of hours at peak time. I've been doing this
several years now and the volume is gradually increasing, to the point
where it now needs tuning properly.
