Doing a quick check, I see that FreeBSD natively offers 10 different flavors of Berkeley DB; 4.0 through 4.8 sans 4.5 (I don't know why), and versions 5 & 6. I am trying to consolidate my new system to using one standard version if possible. Of course this is not an absolute necessity. I was more curious than anything else as to why it didn't work. Thanks for your help. I'll just install Berkeley db5. I am pretty sure that is what I had on the old machine anyway. -- Jerry
