You haven't said if this is a persistent problem. One telnet may work now, but that does not exclude the possibility of an eralier problem. What does Postfix log with "delay=a/b/c/d" when a connection is lost? Are you going through a stateful firewall/NAT that drops sessions to soon? I can speculate until the cows come home, but I prefer not to. Wietse
