Like postings to this list for example?  What makes a set of users
"unrelated"?  Which groups of users belong to the same "secret
society", sign-up for flight discount promotions from an online
travel agency, attended the same school 24 years ago and someone's
planning a reunion, ...

This sounds like a strategy with a high likelihood of false positives.
