Postfix does have some limits. If a client exceeds the limits, postfix will no longer accept mail from the client, and the offense is noted in the logs. Some of the parameters, most default to 0 (no limit) http://www.postfix.org/postconf.5.html#smtpd_client_connection_count_limit http://www.postfix.org/postconf.5.html#smtpd_client_connection_rate_limit http://www.postfix.org/postconf.5.html#smtpd_client_message_rate_limit http://www.postfix.org/postconf.5.html#smtpd_client_new_tls_session_rate_limit > > The reason why I am asking is... Look for the client's IP in the postfix log, and it will explain the problem. If nothing is in the postfix log, you have a firewall issue. -- Noel Jones
