I have an email account that forwards all mail to a gmail account (User wants to use her own domain, but wants to use gmail for access).
The account is in MySQL via postfixadmin and forwards look like this: postfix/smtpd[52756]: 6E6E650D34C: client=*munged*[12.34.56.789] postfix/cleanup[52604]: 6E6E650D34C: message-id=<06.56.19952.B6B2F225@washburn> postfix/qmgr[89409]: 6E6E650D34C: from=<bounces@*munged*>, size=45978, nrcpt=1 (queue active) postfix/smtp[52810]: 6E6E650D34C: to=<*munged*@gmail.com>, orig_to=<*munged*@mydomain.tld>, relay=gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[173.194.64.26]:25, delay=3, delays=0.54/0.02/1.4/1, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (250 2.0.0 OK 1378826643 m9si10240016oep.30 - gsmtp) postfix/qmgr[89409]: 6E6E650D34C: removed Now, the user is missing several emails over the last week which were all delivered to gmail and accepted (that is one of them, from this morning) and she would like me to archive the emails before I send them along to google. I said I'd look into it, since I'm not sure it's possible. $ postmap -q *munged*@mydomain.tld proxy:mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql_virtual_alias_maps.cf *munged*@gmail.com Is it as simple as editing the virtual alias maps to respond with *munged*@gmail.com, localarch...@kreme.com ? -- 'You don't think you've had enough, do you?' he said. I KNOW WHEN I'VE HAD ENOUGH. 'Everyone says that, though. I KNOW WHEN EVERYONE'S HAD ENOUGH. --Moving Pictures
