your host should setup PTR/RDNS, but you must self set hostname to the ip first, so when your vps hoster do its work it will later be forward / reverse matching
dkim/spf have nothing to do with you cant recieve self --senders that put my email into body content will deliver it to my own trashcan, so if you like to get reply, dont do it
