~$ host 95.138.72.61 Host 61.72.138.95.in-addr.arpa. not found: 3(NXDOMAIN) ~$ host carotte.tilapin.org carotte.tilapin.org has address 5.187.106.61 Not only is rDNS non-existent but the HELO name points to an IP different than the client IP. Most have never flown kites. I would make an educated guess than most Linux app devs know nothing about SMTP RFCs or BCPs or setting up a server properly. Most likely know only enough to plug an IP or hostname of an SMTP relay server into their MUA, just like most non dev users. How many Apache devs know how to code for Gnome? How many Gnome devs know how to patch bugs in mysql? Being a Debian developer carries zero weight here. -- Stan
