this all is way off-topic here

According to spamassasin list posts on this subject, it is the MTA's job to do the rewriting.

BUT REALLY: no longer see any spam is naive

In my case, I will see it, but in a separate account. I won't bore the list here for the policy reasons for it. For my wife it is personal, and she could care less on what she is missing. This way, I can review her spam and make sure that she does not miss something important. Maybe naive, but my wife for over 35 years.

if you need best possible spam-filtering with as less as possible
work you need to take money in your hand and bouy some applicance
like Barracuda Spamfirewall with at least hourly updates of signatures

I have the spam filtering working well enough; don't need no fishes. It does a good job of tagging emails as spam. There is a policy reason for moving them to a special account.

maintain this by yourself results in way too much false positives or
spam passing through your filters

I am already doing the filtering and watching lots of messages go to spam and every so often, when I need to search for a message, I search junk and trash, and there it is. I get maybe 1 important false postive per 10,000 spams.
