Hi Thanks, I did see this info, however am hoping to find someone who has used this before, its not clear what happens when the FROM address isn't listed in the " sender_dependent_relayhost_maps" does it then try to send END to END? (as relayhost has no entry in the main.cf)
How do I get the version number of the postfix service (under Ubuntu 10). I am using Zimbra, it seems they load there own version of postfix as its not in the default location. Acording to this : smtp_sasl_password_maps (empty) Optional Postfix SMTP client lookup tables with one username:password entry per remote hostname or domain, or sender address when sender-dependent authentication is enabled. http://www.postfix.org/postconf.5.html#smtp_sender_dependent_authentication smtp_sender_dependent_authentication (default: no) Enable sender-dependent authentication in the Postfix SMTP client; this is available only with SASL authentication, and disables SMTP connection caching to ensure that mail from different senders will use the appropriate credentials.
